Sleep all day
play all night
Never grow old
Die a thousand times
It's good to be a Gamer

Well, another OwlCon is behind us. We had another great group of gamers...playing games and having fun! In spite of the unfortunate collision of superbowl and mardi gras on the same weekend, we still attracted a little over 450 folks.

Coordinators

The people that spent a year in sporadic meetings, hours on e-mail, and pretty much all of their free time for the seven days before OwlCon slaving away in to deliver you a quality gaming experience. Combined, they easily worked over a thousand volunteer hours putting this together. It's not easy to find people that altruistic. These people are the heart of OwlCon:.

  • Angelo "Worrywart" Benedetto - Director, Dealers, Prize Support, Publicity
  • Andy "CAD Master" Solberg - Gaming
  • Michael "Codewalker" Casavant - Webmaster (& databases), Graphics, Treasurer (electronic)
  • Elizabeth "Registernator" Benedetto - Registration
  • Reema "Overseer" Casavant - Volunteers, Registration
  • Zachary "Extracurricular" McLemore - Facilities, Food (& movies, party), Treasurer (club)

Game Chiefs

Juggling logistics and diplomacy, these folks helped Andy, and the rest of us, make sure we had the quality games we needed and that they actually had somewhere to occur, other than the sidewalk.
